RARE LIONEL BART INTERVIEW TO BE AIRED.

Back in 1995 John was invited to the Acton home of world famous songwriter Lionel Bart, who died four years later. The interview, the longest Lionel had ever undertaken, lasted over an hour and and the 2-hour programme included some of his most memorable songs, including, of course, several from his Oscar winning musical Oliver. John has re-edited this interview, which has not been heard since 1995, and added even more of Lionel's great songs. He has spent several hours on the project and it will be aired before Oliver opens at the Mayflower, Southampton, from May 1 to 26, starring Brian Conley.

John has also, so far, seen four local pantomimes for the Island Amateur Awards. There are at least another half dozen after Christmas.
