WC SEPTEMBER 10.(

It was a quiet week for my mainland visits. This was due to the Bestival crowds returning. I had been caught out in previous years. Did make Eastleigh on Thursday but I waited over an hour for my potential guest and, due to a few problems, it did not prove possible. Thankfully, this is quite a rare happening. It may now take place in a different town in a few weeks time.

A day earlier I did have fun talking to a small group of retired people
in Wootton – and they seemed to enjoy it.

Went to two Island amateur theatre productions later in the week – one was brilliantly performed – and the other wasn’t.

I loved watching The Scapegoat on TV last Sunday night – it was the third time I had seen it in just a few weeks. Congrats to Dominic Minghella and Sarah Beardsall – and I have now just bought the DVD.
