I was expecting two major interviews to be finalised but this did not happen. I have now virually given up the hope of chatting to two stars who have been on my show several times – and one of them was not even famous when I first saw him at Sandown Pavilion.
As 2014 will be a double celebration year for me I am hoping to attract a few top name guests – and one in particular. The pleading letter has gone out – and I have met her twice before. A real superstar!! A lovely lady, too.
The show invitations are now coming in thick and fast – and these include a few more pantos. I think there are two Island ones in February.
One of my favourite moments of 2013 was when I opened a letter and found it was from Tommy Steele. Thanking me for our recent interview – which he seemed to enjoy. This makes it all worth while. This guy has been a star for as long as I can remember. I was very flattered.
