WC JANUARY 13

Had a great Monday night at the Bonchurch Social Club. It was my fourth visit and I love the members and their hospitality. I planned a new talk, as I had been asked back several times, and it seemed to go well. There are rumours they want be back next year.

Had a fascinating trip to Beaulieu on Thursday to meet and interview a world famous crime writer – Peter James. His play, The Perfect Murder, is heading for the Mayflower, Southampton from Feb 4 to 8. Peter has written 29 novels and sold over 15 million books, including six number ones in Britain. His crime stories feature Brighton’s DS Roy Grace. He’s also been involved in 25 movies, as an executive producer and screenwriter. Roy’s mother was a glove maker to the Queen.
