WC January 27.

Monday got off to a great start with a visit to my old friend Shaw Taylor, who hosted Police 5 for its entire 30 year run. The show is coming back with a 30 minute version on Channel 5 from February 11 and Shaw has a cameo role in each of the seven shows.

Delighted to report one or two fascinating interviews are now confirmed. All will be revealed soon.

I am also thrilled to have been booked for one of my Chatting Up The Stars talks, in Bournemouth.

I recorded an At Home with Rob da Bank on Thursday morning and was delighted to chat about his life, The Bestival and his work as a Radio 1 presenter. This is being aired on Sunday February 9 at 2 and 10pm. I’m pleased to say it’s not at the BIC!!

Progress is bing made in obtaining trophy sponsors for the November IW Amateur Theatre Awards. The new idea is to have 18 different sponsors to donate £80 each to provide one of the exciting glass trophies and have their names engraved on the glass and mentioned in pre-show publicity. It seems only 4 or 5 more are needed. Several businesses and individuals have already come forward to sponsor a trophy.
