Went to London on Tuesday to interview SHAUN WILLIAMSON at the National Theatre, where he is rehearsing for the forthcoming tour of One Man, Two Guvnors, which comes to the Mayflower, Southampton, in early June. It’s an award winning comedy and Shaun, as ever, was in great form. I then made it a quick double by heading for the Meniere Chocolate Factory Theatre to interview JEFFREY HOLLAND, who is bringing his one-man show, about Stan Laurel, to the Apollo Theastre, Newport, on Thursday June 5. Jeff is fondly remembered for a string of hit TV series, including Hi-De-Hi, You Rang M’Lord and Oh! Dr Beeching.
