I had a brilliant Tuesday morning when I went to the Hampshire home of the wonderful actor Diane Keen, currently in the West End’s Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. She was a perfect host and station taxi driver. Listen out soon for her appearance on John Hannam Meets. She is in great form and has chosen some superb music. Got back to have 12 stitches removed. I enjoyed meeting Diane a lot more.
Went to Warner’s, Bembridge, on Saturday night to catch up with my long term friend Jimmy Cricket. We recorded a chat for a new podcast for John Hannam Meets which can be heard very soon via the usual sources, including the radio page of this website. The podcasts are gradually beginning to take off and the response can only get better.
I have been busy preparing a Hannam Archive featuring the late IAN McCLAGON, who was in the legendary group the Small Faces. He was in great form back in March 2003. when we met at a London hotel. Keep an eye open for it within the next couple of weeks. It’s just what you would expect from an old rock star.
