WC February 1st.
Had a great Sunday morning when I had my very first Skype session, which was in East Cowes. It involved Josh Barry, who is doing a brilliant project on artistes agents and managers, in the early post-war years. I am delighted to be helping him with this project. I am hosting his special live event at Gurnard Pines on Friday June 17. The session involved two great characters from the world of showbiz – scriptwriter Colin Edmonds and musical director Mike Dixon.
Headed to London on Tuesday to meet DERRICK EVANS – in other words MR MOTIVATOR. We had real fun in a Kensington hotel and he gave me a brilliant interview which will soon be on another JH Meets new podcast. On the way home I popped in to see my long term pal CRAIG DOUGLAS in his Dolphin Square flat. We always find plenty to talk about. Despite his health problems, which prevent him from performing on stage, he was in good spirits.
I’ve had one or two offers for interviews accepted and these will be revealed in a few days time. One is particularly exciting.
