WC FEBRUARY 15.

I had two interviews booked for Tuesday in London. Sadly, the second one had to be postponed the day before because the famous British actress, currently rehearsing for a new West End play, was not available. It will happen next month – and she was one of the stars TV’s of Lark Rise To Candleford. I did have some great fun, as per usual, with ANDREW ROACHFORD, who has a brilliant new album released in March. We always hit it off and this was no exception. Listen out for it soon on a new John Hannam Meets podcast.

I was all set to interview RUNRIG on Friday in Portsmouth. I love their music and, particularly, their brilliant new album. They were formed in 1973. Sadly I was only offered their newest member, who joined in 2001. No disrespect to him but I had researched their early days thoroughly but he was not even born when the band were formed. It just would have not worked. I don’t suppose I’ll get another chance.
