On Tuesday night I saw a stunning touring version of Evita at the Mayflower, Southampton, and it was the finest ever production I had seen of this great musical – and I have seen quite a few over the years. There were no stars but there were several outstanding performances from within the very talent company. There was such teamwork. It more tan compensated for the rather poor version of Buddy I saw at the Mayflower recently.
