Every summer there seems a lull in interview opportunities – and I’ve worried about this for many years. Sadly when summer season shows were in full swing there was never a problem. Stars were around all the time. Suddenly, I had nothing in the book, which doesn’t happen very often. Monday was exciting – as I had two new interviews confirmed. So I’m raring to go again.
Had a great trip to Oxford on Saturday to interview Joe McElderry, who won the 2009 X-Factor. He’s currently touring Britain in his own show, Saturday Night At The Movies Live. We met backstage at the New Theatre, Oxford. What a great young man. I enjoyed his company immensely. He comes to Shanklin Theatre on August 20 and the Mayflower, Southampton, on August 21. He has just had a Top 10 album.
