Had a great start to the week. I went over to appear on Radio Solent’s Alex Dyke Show. It proved a most enjoyable experience and I was so impressed with the facilities available to their presenters. Alex was in top form and he went out of his way to help.
Launched the book at Shanklin Theatre on Tuesday night. It was a good night and the feedback has been extremely good. Just a little disappointed that many of the people invited did not turn up. There were apologies from quite a few.
The County Press book signing has been put back a week until Saturday October 28 from 10am to noon. I am going ahead with the other planned for October 21, to be fair to them. I am at Glyn Morgan’s, Shanklin, from 2 until 4pm.
Had a most enjoyable Friday when I went to the launch day of the Mayflower pantomime Snow White. It was such a great thrill to interview Craig Revel Horwood and the Chuckle Brothers. Such nice guys and they were all very kind to me.
I had a good Saturday afternoon at Glyn Morgan’s, Regent Street, Shanklin. There had been a wrong date in the paper but some turned up and I was delighted to sign their copies of my new book.
