JOHN TO GO BACK TO EAST COWES FOR A TALK.

John, who was born in East Cowes, has been asked to return to the town by the East Cowes Heritage Centre to present a talk at the Town Hall on Thursday afternoon May 10. The talk will be in two halves. Before the interval John will recall his many memories of growing up in East Cowes and in the second half will talk about his life interviewing famous people. His two books will be on sale at the event, which begins at 2-30pm. Around this time there is a special exhibition in the town. John is pictured during his days in Old Road.
