WC JANUARY 13

For the first time in over 30 years I could not get to a Mayflower Theatre press night. The storm had stopped the Red Jet and I could not get to see Priscilla on Monday night. Luckily, I had seen it in Brighton two weeks earlier when I interviewed Joe McFadden the star of the show.

On Wednesday I popped into Ryde to chat to Sheila and Frank Orchard for a story I am doing for the County Press ,on the Commodore. Lovely memories to share.

I also managed to get to two coffee sessions with the last of the summer wine gang at the Wheatsheaf, Newport. Such fun and a great lot of mates.

I am also chasing one or two star interviews. Letters have gone out. Fingers crossed!
