Early in the week I recorded a demo of a short story written and voiced by Jillie Wheeler from Bembridge. She has hopes that it could make a two-part radio programme. I will be working on it over the next few days.
Also delighted to complete another sporting feature for the County Press. This will feature Alan ‘Ossie’ Osborne who has spent 72 years at the same local football club. Should be published on Friday November 6.
I was so sad to hear of the death of the great comedian Bobby Ball. Cannon and Ball gave me some great interviews over the years. To celebrate Bobby’s life I am returning to the last interview I ever did with them back in 2000, at Warner’s Norton Grange, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. This will be on a nationwide podcast and on I Love Cowes Radio.
