CRAIG DOUGLAS MOVIE ON TV.

Isle of Wight-born singer Craig Douglas, who has written the foreword to John’s new book, made three movies during his illustrious career. It’s Trad Dad was the most successful and this is being shown on the wonderful Talking Pictures channel on Thursday July 5 at 6.05pm. This can be viewed on Freeview channel 81, Freesat 306, Sky 328 and Virgin 445. Not a brilliant storyline but some memorable pop stars are also in it, including Gene Vincent, John Leyton, Helen Shapiro, Del Shannon, Chubby Checker and trad jazz legends like Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk and Terry Lightfoot.
