WC October 17.

I had a great personal pleasure on Tuesday when I interviewed The Soldiers, likely to have a number 1 single with Got To Get A Message To You, in London’s West End. They are serving soldiers who raise thousands of pounds for charity via hit albums, tours and personal appearances. Their first album, Coming Home, issued in 2009, was in the top five best selling albums of the year. They were in brillaint form and talk about their careers as both soldiers and singers.

It was back again to London on Tuesday for two more interviews – and both are very old favourites of JH Meets. It’s always a real pleasure to meet both Chris de Burgh and Daniel O’Donnell. They were as friendly as ever. As I had a couple of hours in-between, I nipped over to spend some time with Craig Douglas at his Pimlico appartment. He was in good spirits and is delighted how well his Newport show went and the fact the new CD is going well at the CP Shop, Newport. There could be a national release in November.

I had a most enjoyable Friday night at the Methodist Church, Wootton. I was the after dinner-speaker at a special evening and the full house, which was rather nice, seemed to enjoy my chat. Congrats to all of those who were involved with this most enjoyable evening. It was nice to meet old friends and meet some new ones. I think they might be back next year.
