WC MAY 14

It was a kind of a holiday week – as I had no interviews booked. Thankfully, this is about to change, with more being lined up. I did spend a very happy Monday night with the Shorwell WI, as their substitute speaker. I was not too happy with my performance – as I was not in top gear. I think getting de-hydrated on my 15 mile Walk the Wight run, meant my brain was not responding as per usual. I had one or two memory losses – which has never happened before. The very friendly ladies seemed to enjoy it but I hope to go back one day and perform a whole lot better.

I was lucky enought to see two good Island amateur shows – The Children’s Hour at the Apollo, Newport, and Godspell at Trinity Theatre, Cowes. In the former I saw a stunning debut by an Island youngster.

I also had a great voice message left by TV and movie actor Ian McNeice – who is such a nice guy. He is also trying to get me another guest, by gentle persuasion, following his recent very popular apperance on JH Meets.
