WC MAY 7.

Popped up to London on Tuesday to interview West End star Louise Dearman, in The Haymaket. Recently she has been starring in Wicked to great acclaim. She has been in numerous West End musicals and tours. She has a stunning new CD, called Here Comes The Sun, which is an exciting new venture for her with no show tunes. The tracks are memorable pop songs associated with stars like Cyndie Lauper, Alison Moyet and Annie Lennox.

En route home I called into the Mayflower, Southampton, to interview actor Stephen Moore, currently playing Mr Brownlow in Oliver. He’s been on TV for over 40 years and both his voice and face are instantly recognisable. Stephen was the voice of Marvin in The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy, Eldane in a recent Dr Who, George Mole in the hit Adrian Mole TV series and Kevin’s Dad in Harry Enfield – amongst hundreds of others.

Went to Canterbury on Thursday to interview Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace.
They are heading to the Mayflower, Southampton, from June 12 to 16 in Midnight Tango. Took a car load and it was a long trip but the interivew was well worth it.

Sunday was rather special for me as I decided to run the Bembridge to Carisbrooke first leg of Walk The Wight. It was tough and losing my phone and having to run back from Brading to Culver to search for it did not help. Thankfully, due to help from several people, the phone was located in long grass on Culver Down and I was able to continue my run. What an inspirational day it is.
