Another major interview has come in for later this week, which makes two in two days. Blake’s management have been chasing me to interview the boys but it all came too late. They are all set for their third Island appearance in such a short time – which may be the reason they contacted me, as they have not yet sold out.
Went to Brighton on Thursday to interview Denise Welch, who seldom seems to be out of the news. She is coming to the Mayflower from June 4 – 9 as one of the stars in Steel Magnolias. What a lovely lady and we hit it off from the start and this led to a brilliant interview from her. I can hardly wait to put it on air. We managed to get back to Southampton in time to see the stunning production of Oliver. One of the most sensational shows I have seen for a long time.
I slipped over to Southampton on Friday lunchtime to interview long-time friend Brian Conley, who is wowing audiences with his Fagin creation in Lionel Bart’s Oliver, at the Mayflower. What talent this guy has!!!
