Had a great thrill on Tuesday when I had a lunchtime interview in Chichester with popular actor KEVIN DOYLE, currently in This House at the Minerva Theatre. Kevin has been seen in so many major series which include playing John Parr in The Lakes, Mike Hartnoll in At Home With the Braithwaite’s, Mr Molesley in Downton Abbey and John Wadsworth, the detective who committed a murder, in Happy Valley. He was in brilliant form. He is soon to be seen in Paranoid.
The rest of the week was spent sorting out my new book which has arrived from the printers in Exeter. I am very pleased with their work. I am undertaking a few events to plug and promote the book. There is already some interest from the mainland. One or two newspapers are planning features. I must admit to being excited. I am now busy planning the next one and trying to decide who to include – and this one won’t be pop stars. It will be stories behind the interviews with stars of Screen, Stage and Sport. I’ve got hundreds to choose from.
