WC SEPTEMBER 10.

Had a great start to the week with the exciting news of some confirmed interviews in the coming weeks. At least six famous people are now booked to appear on John Hannam Meets. I am very excited about them all but, especially one, a very famous face from the ’60s. I can barely wait to go to her home. Steady John!!

Tuesday night was rather special. I went to the Quay Arts Centre launch of Josh Barry’s amazing new book called Adapted. I have such admiration for this young man. It was an occasion to remember, with people reading extracts from the book. I was asked to read from it and also say a few words. They seemed to go down well, as did everyone on a  night to remember. I am privileged to have written the foreword to the book.

I had a great day at the Chichester Festival Theatre on Thursday when I interviewed two of the stars from their current production of Flowers For Mrs Harris. My old friend Gary Wilmot is such a nice guy and always a pleasure to interview. I also interviewed Claire Machin, a regular West End star. She has appeared in numerous London productions. Both of these fascinating interviews will soon be aired.
