John is replaying an interview recorded back in 1982 at Sandown Pavilion to celebrate the life of the brilliant entertainer Freddie Starr. John was a great admirer of the late funny man and was lucky enough to interview him on two occasions. This 1982 interview was recorded on an old cassette machine, as notes for a newspaper feature. Considering it was not intended for a radio transmission, the quality has stood up well.
